Kade Parmelly died from acute lymphoblastic Leukemia, Duke Blue Devils football player

According to a post from Duke Football Talk, Kade Parmelly, a 2021 Duke football player, died on Friday, July 7 after a battle with leukaemia. The unfortunate news was later confirmed by the Duke Football Twitter account.


This past winter, Parmelly made his leukaemia diagnosis public.

In 2021, Parmelly transferred from Abilene Christian to Duke. He is from Abilene, Texas. After making 8 starts at Abilene Christian, he played in 12 games with the Blue Devils, starting 1 game in the ACC.

Prior to moving after graduating from Abilene Christian in 2019, Parmelly served as team captain twice.
